Wireless is not allowed in our dorms. Is there any computer genious who knows how I might get it to work in my dorm room?

other than hard lining it i would say find a mobile service that uses cell signal for wifi. Other than that see if your laptop can hack a signal that its receiving..

well if wifi is not allowed just wire the computers directly into the router using the 4 ports on the back of it. but this will mean the pcs will need to be in the same room, or close by to save having cables running about everywhere.
since u didnt really make your question clear to understand.
if u want to use wifi, just setup a good passphrase and only give this to people u want to access the internet or share the resources between pcs

You should be aware that even if you set up security on a wireless network, the wireless network will still be easily detectable. Since it is a proximity network, anyone close enough to the router would detect the network whether or not they could connect to it.

You could try a wireless router...You havent given any info on how you presently connect!
