A cliched answer, but I think men and the media have forced us to try to become this ideal, perfect woman, so we easily get angry at other women who have more appealing attributes.

Also, the biological answer - women have to be competitive to find a suitable man to produce and raise offspring with.

Because every one thinks of us a the weaker s*x so we feel some times like we have to prove to every one else that we can do what ever a man can do.

Because in this human rat-race there is a tremendous amount of expectations put upon us (as well as men) which I think is mostly media (tv, magazines, etc.) induced.

i'm not sure, but i hate that crap. i have a low self esteem and i always feel like i can't measure up to other girls. it's very depressing.
