Yesterday, everyone was quick and anxious to bash the USA after they lost to a very good Greece team. Where is the praise for them today? Since many USA fans abandoned them b/c they couldn't win the gold, in a sense, they had no reason to put forth any effort. Instead, they came out and out-hustled and out-played an Argentina team that is stocked with some of the world's best players. So, do any of you Americans out there have small enough egos to congratulate Team USA on their win today?

I get it. Apparently, you don't. The names on the roster meant nothing. This isn't the NBA. In the NBA, the roster for Team USA would be a terror. By FIBA rules, they are just that...names on a roster.

USA has the best team assembled in the world championships yet have been together for the least amount of team. The fact they destroyed Argentina is a surprise to me. I honestly think Greece will win everything now but if USA only knew how to defend it wouldnt have happened. With Kobe back they'll win gold and no, they didnt try their best. Greece have been together for a year, give me a break.

Anyone who gets a bronze medal deserves a praise and a compliment. Congratulations USA.

The problem is that when it comes down to basketball the American people always expect an easy peasy victory and the gold medal, but USA isnt the only good team playing, you know.

Welcome to reality!!!!!; USA tried their hardest all along this World Cup and YOU'RE 3rd BEST at basketball.

You don't get it do you? They should have won gold. With a roster like that, the expectation is to win gold, and beat every team by 30. And since they didn't everyone's upset. 3rd place in the eyes of myself and many others just isn't good enough.
