You know, as a student editor of our school magazine, you should talk about it with your fellow editors, or you could dish out a questionaire to see what the student body is interested in. But of course, as I am here to asnwer your question, I suggest you take some of the headline news or hot topics of your fellow students to arouse their interest in your paper. You can also add a column to ask what advice teachers can give to graduating students if you're in a high school. Ask teachers of caretakers to share any experience. If these don't work, try urging the stdent body to submit some of their own work, such as their comics or short stories, that way, they don't have to bear that responsibility that you do, but still get their work published.

A few months ago I was in your situation and so we asked around the school and thankfully we found a topic in the end. It was called "Pixels" and I wrote about how the world is one picture, each of us is a pixel contributing to the world, and if one pixel was lost, the picture that is the world would not be complete.

Well, since teachers day is nearing, you can try and interview some of your fellow students and ask them if they remember any funny incident related to their teacher. You can also write something humourous and in good taste about the teachers.
