I don't know about most. But to the extent to which people do feel this way, it's largely a consequence of ignorance, fear of the unknown and a willingness to make gross generalizations. It goes beyond merely Pakistanis and to anyone who looks vaguely "Arab." In the wake of 9/11, for example, there were a number of crimes committed against Sikhs because people were ignorant of their culture and assumed that dark skinned people with turbans and beards must be Arab terrorists. Perhaps the better question is what can we do to change this?

It is a sweeping generalism to say that "most people of other countries hate Pakistanis" - not to mention completely ironic, given your question.

But anyway....

Most people of other countries do not hate Pakistanis. I can't think of one person who does. But I am Canadian, so my American cousins may feel differently.

I think it's wrong that terrorism seems to be associated with Islam, we don't call the IRA catholic terrorists do we? Not all terrorists are muslim and not all muslims are terrorists. Not all Pakistanis are muslim. I think it's about time we separated terrorism from Islam and came up with a new name.

Most of them don't it's just that racists and bigots seem to shout louder. The rest of us don't because we don't suffer the social insecurities that drive them.
