How do you get a cape in city of heroes?

I have created a new hero and in creation mode I cannot find the stinkin cape can someone help

Yes, the cape mission can be gotten in the Atlas Town Hall (the same building where you meet your first contact, depending on your origin, if you started in Atlas). She's standing right in the middle of the round room when you go in.

When you finish the mission (which usually involves seeing three contacts for "historical info," then doing a real mission), the cape is unlocked. You can bring friends on your cape mission, and the mission is much easier than it was a few versions back.

Depending on which edition(s) of the game you have, some special capes can be acquired. The Deluxe version of CoH has a special cape, and there is an arachnoid cape from CoV that you can get as well.

If you're curious, Auras (which you can "wear" as part of your costume) work the same way -- I think you see the same woman when you reach level 30. You'll be sent on three "collect" missions -- you have to hunt 15 Rikti, DE, and something else (Crey?) and when you finish, the auras will be unlocked.

You have to be level 20 than go to atlas and go inside the building where you can make your supergroup and all that at. Talk to the lady in the middle of room when you walk in and she will give you a mission for you to do to get cape.
