Should you crumble it up or feed them it as is?

Just feed it as is. The Goldies will take chunks of it out, or they will enhale it all at once and spit it back out, and sometimes eat the whole thing.
No worries - they are quite capable.

Take a little cup of the tank water, soak the food for a couple minutes and dump it in, this way goldfish wont swallow air when they eat the food and it will help prevent swimbladder problems. Only feed once a day very sparingly. A hungry fish is a healthy fish.

If the food looks to big for your fish you could crumple it a little. Then just sprinkle it in the tank. Try not to over feed it tho. You know you are over feeding it when the next day you see uneaten food at the bottom of the tank.

Leave it as is unless the flake is huge (like the size of a quarter) and you have babies. Otherwise they will tear at it and get it down the hatch.
Just make sure when they finish eating there isn't any leftover food. If there is, clean it up and reduce the amt you give them next time. This prevents rapid fouling of the water.

It would not actually remember. Tropical fish nutrients is risk-free to your goldfish, yet goldfish nutrients has issues in it that are helpful on your goldfish that may no longer be in basic tropical fish nutrients. study the applications and ask some preofessionals approximately it.

Sprinkle a TINY amount and wait until every last bit is eaten. This gives you an idea on how much they eat. If they don't eat everything the food will start to rot, giving your tank a nasty smell. PU! Hope this helps!

if the fish are small crumble it up if the flakes are big if the fish are big and the flakes arn't vary big feed as is

only crumble if they are very small if not just give it to them and LITTLE at a time only what they can eat in about 3 mins.

give it o them in smaller pieces. crumble the fish food and give it to them so it floats on the top
