I want a job in pharmaceutical sales! I just graduated with a four year degree in biology but I have no sales experience. How can I get a job?

Unless you know a RM in pharm sales, good luck. Especially with no sales experience, no one will even look at you. Just being honest. Your best bet would be get some entry level outside sales experience and try to meet some people in the field if you haven't already. Just an fyi from someone in the field, pharm sales is not the same as it was years ago. It's a lot of micromanaging, and you no longer are on your own, you work in what is called a pod or a team. Your pod mates and your sales are all collectively averaged in determining bonuses. And if you ever want to move up into management, you better give good........

Try starting from medium companies , so that when you approach bigger companies like Glaxo,ranabaxy,Pfizer etc it will be easy for you to negotiate the demands of those big companies.Now to start with finding the job in pharma sales go through all leading newspapers you will find some opening some where give your best in the interview and wait hopefully you will
hear the good news.
