my baby is 11 months old. But her first teeth has not come yet. Is she having calcium problem?

my son did not get his first tooth until he was 13 months old, although I swear he was teething for four months!!! After he got his first tooth, he got 3 more in 5 weeks! I do not believe you have too much to worry about, although I know I was concerned. Please contact your pediatrician with all concerns though, b/c it will put your mind at ease. I also read that if you gently massage their gums (they will hate it), it will help to push those teeth through. Good luck... to you and your little one.

My daughters did not get their first tooth until after they were 14 months old. My doctor and my dentist both stated that they would have healthy and long lasting teeth. The doctor said the later the teeth come in the stronger they are. I do not know if that is true or not but the girls have very strong teeth today.

no, i dont think your baby is having a calcium problem.

i never thought my first daughter would get a tooth and then a couple months after she turned 1 year old-she started getting her teeth....alot at once!
but, my 7 month old daughter already has her 2 bottom teeth.
it is neat how all babies do things different and at different ages.

Between 4 and 7 months is when most babies get their first tooth but anywhere up to about 15 months is still considered normal. You should let your dr. know at her next visit but don't worry about it yet.

my middlest dsughtrt didn't cut her first tooth till she was 13months old as to where my oldest cut her first tooth at 2 months old. baby's very in cutting teeth.her dentist said the later the teeth come in the healthier they will be
