No, Al nut job Gore didn't invent it. The only thing he can invent is a lie. The U.S. military came up with it a long time ago. And then we were allowed to use it. That is why to this day, the U.S. has had a major control over a big part of it and Europe wants the U.S. to relinquish control. Personally, I say screw the U.N.

The military invented the internet in the late 1950's to regain a technological lead over the Soviets. I saw the Al Gore interview, and it is really quite odd how he says he invented it. I thought maybe his words were misconstrued, but he really claimed that. Maybe that's why he talks so much now about global warming, to make people forget.

Actually, its a common misconception to think the military created the internet. In fact, the internet was first born in Germany.
