Hi Everyone,
My friend and I are going to kavos on Monday (4th Sep 06).
I just want more details about it and what are the do's and dont's of people who have already been there.
This is our first time to Kavos and want to have a brilliant yet safe holiday as we've heard good and bad things about it.

It depends on what you are looking for.My opinion is this: Corfu is one of the most beautiful islands but only the north part.The south is ugly and they throw there all the tourists that they don't know what they miss in the magnificent north part.Beside that , there is a lot of noise, a lot of drunk and I believe it is dirty.It is really awful. I am Greek , I 've been to Corfu many times (to Kavos once) and I don't go again southern of Lefkimi(where Kavos is).If you can , visit the north part , it is wonderful with really nice people. It is a pity being so close to a such a beautiful place and not visiting it.

Yeah here's a don't, Don't go, its full of scaly Brits but if you must don't eat the sea food or the lamb come to think of it just don't eat in any of the restaurants there.
And as for a do, try and get to the other side of the island. the prevailing winds make some great surf.

Ive been there twice, had a great time, its a real party place so as long as thats what your going for then you be fine. Good points are the nightlife, cheap drinks, cheap food. Bad points are sometimes it smells and the beach isn't that great but hey thats what your pools. Have a great time
