I was in love with my best friend for years! He was older and one of the "cooler" guys, and all the girls liked him, I don't think any girl who knew him didn't have a crush on him at one point. The only problem with him is that he was (and still is) a crystal meth addict, I thought I could get him to like me more by getting involved with drugs too, which actually did work, because we would always use together and we were really close friends, but the drugs started messing with my mind, and the worse my addiction to meth got, the more he didn't want to be around me, and I couldn't figure out why, since I thought that that was what he wanted me to be. He knew I liked him, and I think he used it against me to get what he wanted, he'd used me, and then he'd stop talking to me for months at a time. Finally I got over him (because I found a guy who actually treats me right). We are are still good friends but he hurt me soo bad. He'd use my money, my vehicle, my connections, whatever I had that could help him get high, and then he'd flirt with other girls right in front of me, knowing I was stupid in love with him, and then just throw me to the curb over and over again. Now the funny thing is, some chick is doing the same thing to him, and whenever he calls me crying wanting someone to talk to, saying there is no way I would understand what he's going through, I have to try so hard not to laugh in his face.

My biggest was when I let someone close to me know that I had special feelings for him. What a waste!
