The corporate media is controlled by the Zionist lobby in the US and its other allies. In other countries, the government / leaders control the media for the sole purpose of controlling its citizens and allowing these leaders to do what they want with no uprising from the public.
Currently, there is war against Muslims and Arabs, the media would not show you any news that would show Muslims / Arabs as humans, rather all focus will be on how to portray them as barbaric savages, simply so that the people may not sympathize with them.
Lucky we have the Internet, this gives us the chance to validate what is being fed to us by our local media. However it is really important when searching for a subject to validate the source.
For example, I cannot be browsing for news / information on the middle east and use and Israeli source or a website that is sponsored in Israel. The facts may be distorted. That does not mean that I will not read the news, but I can compare what I read against news from other neutral sites and compare.

If the media tolled the truth and the only truth then we will all live peacefully. The media strikes Islam, everyday they speak about bad points about Muslims. I have seen a lot of clips of the so called 'Muslim terrorists' (who they also call the Jihad) and i can remember one person say:"I will make the 9/11 seem like nothing". And till this day I havnt seen nothing of such act. I beleive that these "Islamic terrorists" are arabs who have been bribed with money to make these clips and to blow them selves up (thats if they paid them some more)
The media is scared of loosing billions of money, If the media gave the truth and the only truth then i guess Bush and Blair will no loneger be where they are but instead locked up in a prison cell.

I think they're afraid to give the fact because of the US (and foreign) governments, their affiliates, and etc....
And, if they did report the truth, maybe things would really get out of hand....or could create a larger crisis or upheaval, or something else altogether.
