I don't know what happened but when I try toturn on my laptop it won't turn on. It was working just fine yesterday. I have a Dell xps and it is 2 yrs old. I have heard about this battery recall but not sure if that is the cause. Please help, I tried using my power adpter too and it doesnt have power.

If the power adapter doesnt work than it is probably a failing hard drive. maybe it could have fallen and unlodgen a card or something from a slot but it is proabaly onot the battery/power adatper

Sounds like your power supply is fried.Check the battery to make sure your getting power from it.If you use a power cord and still no power then it's the cord or the computer.Take to a shop if the cord is getting power to it

It sounds like a dead battery which could mean your charger/power supply is bad. Does your battery have a button to check the charge?

Make sure the battery is correctly installed,if that doesn't help,might as well kiss it goodbye,it's burned up.

the battery recal was because they were catching fire, this would have nothing to do with it. but you could have a short in it somewhere, i hope you have a warenty on it still, if you do you can send it in and they should get it working again.

Maybe the BIOS battery is dead. Change the battery and see if your laptop will start up...

well if it still doesnt work then at least youve still got another computer on which u typed this qn...
oh and by the way i accidentely read the qn and thought it said: help my laptop does not turn me on lol oops
