A man who keeps suspecting and accusing his wife of cheating on him even though she has given him no evidence to think that. He keeps wanting self approval from her and always interprets her comments, no matter how innocent, as a slight to him. He's always jealous of his wife doing her own thing and is a control freak and always wants to control everything his wife does and always has to know where his wife is everytime she's not at home.

A person who is insecure lacks confidence in their own value and capability. Insecurity is an emotional interpretation of own ability, as two people with the same capabilities may have entirely different levels of insecurity.
Insecurity may cause shyness, paranoia and social withdrawal, or alternatively it may encourage compensatory behaviors such as arrogance, aggression, or bullying.
Insecurity causes some degree of isolation as a typically insecure person withdraws.
Although difficult, insecurity can be overcome. It takes time and patience and a willingness to believe each person is of great value.
