Have you ever tried to listen to Underground rap instead of Mainstream. It's true that Rap has been diluted with Big Butts, platinum, and Money, but not all rap is like that. Mos Def, Talib Kwali, Bone Thugs, Black Moon, and many more deliver the old meaning of rap to you. Mainstream Rap is not Hip-HOp to me, but dont judge it unless you have heard the shitt BET and MTV dont play because its not "PROFITABLE". If you like Mos Def as an Actor, YOU WOULD LOVE HIM AS A RAPPER (Warning: He is a very PRO-BLACK)

First off.
Most rap isn't about hoes shaking their booties.
If you really listened to the lyrics then you'd find
that most of it is actually about relationships,
love, and yes, some sex but a lot of songs talk
about all of that. Rap stands for Rythm And Poetry
Please have respect for some of it! It's still music.
And as for my answer, No, I do not hate rap.

i love rap, yet i wager I hate a number of it. yet, I hate some thing from all genres of music. what type of rap do you hate? there is one of those great number of diverse varieties. And, judging via ways you're speaking about it, you ain't heard many differing varieties. yet, i wager each and every so often we predict of all of us comprehend all about some thing all of us comprehend little about.

I don't hate all of it, but most of the new stuff these days is total garbage - most of it is just songs about hoes shaking their booties with none of the social commentary of the older stuff.

i hate rap with all my heart........i'll listen to anything else but rap cuz they got no talent compared to people who sing rock and anything close to rock
