I saw a bumper sticker that said "save the whales, kill the babies" I don't understand what that means, can you help?

There are those such as followers of People for the Equal Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Animal Liberation Front (ALF) who have created the idea that animals have equal rights (or even more rights) than people.
This is a bumper sticker meant to shock.
Disregard such people because their lives are meaningless. There are ways to care for animals without demeaning the rights of people. By the way, if you meet someone who you discover is a member of ALF, contact your local FBI, these people are defined as a domestic terrorist organization.

Possibly pointing out the alleged hypocrisy of those who fight to save the whales yet are for a woman's right to choose abortion. To me, no such hypocrisy exists but in the minds of the ardent right-to-lifers I'm sure it does.
