Should i jump off a building now, or try to watch one more season?

I'm just as baffled as you are as to why the Knicks keep making stupid moves. They miss Pat Riley and they miss Jeff van Gundy.

The media will have to take a breather and the Knicks will have to literally start from zero and rebuild with CHEAP players and not with overrated players who only care about getting New York ***** every night.

Be patient - the Knicks will get back into contention.

I think you should watch one more season. You may be pleasantly suprised. The Knicks have some good, young talent on their team, and the "star" players, Marbury and Francis, both had humbling seasons last season. They both were killed on and off the court last season, and I think that will make them come out determined to make a difference. Also, the Knicks' have the proper personnel for an Isaiah Thomas offense. Last season, they just weren't equipped to do what Larry Brown likes to do. In Indy, Thomas ran a motion style, equal opportunity offense. The Knicks have scorers at every position, so that offense should go over well with this team. Defensively, they will still be weak, so even though I foresee improvement, I don't think they are a lock for the playoffs. If they get in, it will be a fight. If they come out strong in the beginning, they may be able to steal the division away from New Jersey...but I doubt it.

Get together a group of investors, try to come up with about $400 million dollars, buy the team, kick Dolan to the curb, fire Isiah, get a good GM and new head coach (maybe PJ Carlisimo), convince Marbury not to exercise his option of 07-08 and negotiate a lower contract to gain some cap space, do everything possible to trade Steve Francis, try to get a couple of experienced players for him, and rebuild the team with the goal of creating a team that can be successful in the long term instead of always trying for instant success like the Knicks have tried to do in the past.

Or, stick with your team. It's not worth jumping off a building, and keeping the faith can pay off in the long run. Just look at the payoff Clippers fans are getting now.

ah yes... I've been in your predicament. As a long time Bulls fan I went through 6 years of agony as the Bulls made every possible mistake on their way back from Jordan. We took on bad contracts (luckily we were ablr to trade them to the Knicks eventually!) traded our best players (Artest and Brand! I screamed at the computer for 10 minutes when I found out Brand was gone...) drafted and took on unmotovated players, you name it, we did it. The only way I survived those 6 years of hell way to become a full fledged basketball fan, not just a Bulls fan. I learned to love basketball in all its forms, as long as it was played well. I recommend you do the same. Then when the Knicks start winning it will all the more sweet because you won't have jumped off the bandwagon.

That's the same question a Pistons, Mavericks, Grizzlies, Cavaliers, Nuggets, or Suns fan could have asked seven years ago. Just keep the faith and believe. Being a Detroiter I witnessed the Pistons resurgance. Don't give up on your team. They need you.

Maybe try to pick another team to cheer for. At least until things pick up for the Knicks.

***what should a Knicks fan do!? ***

Ahahaha, no don't jump.
We'll just have to watch and let time do its thing.
They are probably not going very far this year.
A little rebuilding and who knows.

Lets go Knicks,
