The places that Erricson played him and Gerrard in never worked.
We had the best football team in the World Cup (on paper).
McClaren & El Tel know the score, give them both a fairly free role and dropped Beckham, which in my opinion should have been done before the World Cup.
He will improve with the rest of the England team now that Sweedish arsehole has fooked off.

Lampard is the most over rated england midfielder. i can't believe he was ever compared to Steven Gerrard who's had an excellent game today.
No wonder Barcelona lost interest in Lampard!

He should be the new captain! ...No wait, Steven Gerrard should be the new captain. Either way Lampard is the man. At least for 2 more years. Then it will be time for him to retire from the national team.

Absolute garbage,i counted 6 times in 5 minutes today were he actualy gave the ball straight to the opposition,
Including 3 corners were he failed to beat the 1st man.
In the WC he had like 20+ shots and no goals,let his country down big time,he should be dropped just like Becks

LAMPARD is very average good player, nothing special about him in midfield, organising average, shooting average, defending normal. so, yea, average good. there are so many good midfielder in the world, just because he is english, playing in chelsea, he got more attention of media, honestly, i dont think he is brilliant.

He needs to get used to his new responsiblity under Steve McLaren as the attacking midfieldee. He has the quality.
