today im geting new tracfone and i know you can get your number from your old tracfone onto your new tracfone but im confused when to do it do i activate it and get new number then call tracfone or do i just call tracfone and they will active it for me and get my number on to my new phone?

When you call traphone they will code your new phone with your old number.
