As long as you and your husband are in agreement regarding the division of property, assets, debt, pension, child custody and visitation, then you can go to a lawyer to have him draft it up and file it in court. It will be relatively cheap and painless. Write it down all in point form and take it to a lawyer.

Lawyer bills become expensive when you and your husband are fighting over issues....and lawyers purposely stir the pot with comments like "that's not fair" and "I can get you more" cause that's when they make their money.

Don't get sucked in. Good luck!

Yes, your best bet is to get together with a paralegal (yellow pages) sit down and have him fill out the papers for. This way theres no error or questions later and then you can file them with the court. Its way cheaper than an atty , legal and the judges love it. Also the paralegal can answer any questions you may have, and knows all the paperwork that has to be done. Paralegals do the footwork of an atty anyway but at a fraction of the cost and some states allow paralegals to takes the case into divorce court in front of the judge in non contested divorces. Good luck

Yes. Google legal+divorce papers. One of those sites will have the papers that you will need to file. Fill them out, both sign, submit them to the court house in the country of your residence.

yes it can be done with out lawyers. My Mom has done her own Divorce before by doing paperwork herself and paying small filing fees. Call the courts and ask for prices and advice.

If there are no minor children involved, you can file divorce papers at the City Hall yourselves (get the blank forms from them) and it will be presented to a Judge for his signature and and decision will be mailed to you.

yes it can be done without lawyers but there is lengthy paper work to fill out. I would recommend a lawyer though to make sure everything is done correctly and that neither party gets screwed over. also it really depends on how you both want to proceed.

yes it can.. in the state of Texas for instance there is a website.. texasdivorce.com or something like that.. It's free to get the paperwork but what will cost you are the filing fees.. If you are from another state I think they would have something like that too..
