Yes, and I can tell you it's alot of fun. I have been to clubs, parties, restaurants and shopping dress and have never had a problem.
Good Luck

Quite often. And you would really be surprised how much of a non-issue it is, if you work at it. My first time out, I was terrified. I felt like I had a flashing neon sign over my had that said "Man in a dress!" But the more I did it, the more comfortable I became and the easier I found it to pass in public pretty much unnoticed. Every once in a while, I can feel someone checking me out as if they were trying to decide if I was a guy or not. It's all about the attitude. If you believe in the illusion that you have created, most others will accept it automatically. Usually when I get read, it is because I have done something to call attention to my self.

Hi Michael. I bet you have thought about this a lot. And I don't blame you. The idea of wearing a dress outside, with the cool air blowing on your freshly shaved legs, with only a flimsy pair of knickers on underneath, is enough to make a lot of guys weak in the knees. Just be sure that you use common sense and good judgment when you do it. Be safe and have fun. I bet you look smashing!

I don't advise it. Do you what people to hurl insults at you? Crossdressers are too easily identified and it isn't fun being ridiculed. I advise you to join a club for crossdressers. It's the only place to dress in public.
When I was 13 I had to do it as part of my high school initiation. Upper classmen would purchase freshmen and use them as slaves for a day. I was purchased by a girl and when this happens it was normal to expect him to humiliate the freshman boys by making them wear some feminine clothes. The girl who purchased me was a friend of the family and she contacted my mother in advance to make sure it would be okay. My mother decided to help out and purchased some shoes and a wig for me to wear. I also used my mother's underwear and the girl's old prom dress and petticoat. My mother had me try it all out in advance to make sure it looked passable. The end result was that even though other guys had to wear dresses too, mine looked too pretty on me. I was teased so much that I couldn't enjoy the experience. I was glad when I got to change back into my regular clothes.

I have gone out in public a few times. The best time was at night in Vancouver BC. It's easier to blend in at night in a big city. I went out earlier that same day to shopping mall in Vancouver. I ended up buying stockings at a big department store - that was a bit scary, walking through the mall, standing in line at the store, talking to the clerk. I was sure that everyone could tell I was a transvestite. It was a lot of fun, though. I've been out in public a few other times - it is always exhilirating!

I am Indian. I usually do this. I wear 2 bra at once under my shirt and 2 toe ring on each of my feet and go into public.
I do not bother what other will think, because I am not going to harm any one.
I like it, it gives me very excitement.
I does this 2 or 3 times in a week.

I once had to do it for a play. I was dressed in a pageant dress on stage in front of my entire high school. The scariest part was that I got allot of serious compliments.

my old roomates and i had a pool party and since we were the host, we put on a short performance, we all went to wal-mart and bought women bathing suits and high hill shoes, we had to go into the dressing rooms to try them on and came out in them with the high hills on. it was hilarious, everyone was staring at us and wee couldn't stop laughing. we even had an employee there help find our shoes and bathing suit, she was great. when we got home we put the outfit on with lady sunhats and shades and did a little show, i was high and was laughing so hard that i couldn't lip sinc any of the words. that's my only experience but it was a fun memory
