A very nice family from Maryland wants me to be their Au Pair/Nanny. However, I am over 26 years old and is no longer qualified for the J-1 visa for Au Pairs. The family is requesting me to help them find ways to know the proper visa. Please help.

It's called an h-1b work visa.. I think the family would have to apply for it, but there is fierce competition for them and your chances are very slim. The visa has been abused by corporate america so badly, with companies claiming they can't find a qualified american for the job simply so that they can bring someone in from another country to work for half the salary. It exploits both the american worker and the immigrant. This is why there are almost none of those visa's left.
