I think these are the right methods as terrorists are not afraid to die and they will fight till the end. Therefore we must use weapons to fight against them and war is the last stage of our action if the terrorists acted too extreme.

So, what is your opinion about this?

I remember when war and weapons were the methods of terrorism and not the method to deal with them.

Well, your "methods" certainly don't seem to be doing too well in Iraq, do they?
I imagine some of the Romans used to say:
"What we need to get rid of these Christians is more executions and more lions."
The blood of martyrs - and the terrorists killed in wars by weapons are deemed martyrs by many devout Muslims - has seldom, if ever, served to "stop" any movement.
If terrorism by Islamic fanatics is to be stopped, a lot of the impetus for that is going to have to come from the vast majority of Muslims who are NOT terrorists.
Right now, our invasion of Iraq and our actions there are only alienating many good Muslims.

When you have to kill your enemy who is a cohabitat of your environment, this is a weakness in humanity. We should always strive to do other things to bring cooperation amongst our enemies. For instance, we should learn more about their language and their customs and what they find offensive about us and attempt to debate those differences until there can be a dampening of their hateful intentions against us. Many terrrorists have a deep rooted hateful religious belief that when confronted properly, can be shown to be illogical. But then again many religious groups in the US also have hateful or extreme illogical abandonment for eternity views that inspire their enemies to hate them also. So it is a catch 22. Debate with them and debate with their enemies, basically debate with anyone who says eternal damnation is the truth! One God cannot separate from God's self and if God is everywhere, God is in you and me and everyone, even the terrorist, and so this idea of heaven being more deserving for one than another is false, although I do enjoy civility amongst each other here. Many terrorists have problems with communication because they are so young. The average age of an adult male in a terrorist country is 18! They need some older elephants mixing in there to make some sense out of life.

Terrorism isn't a simple issue, using weapons and bombs cannot be the way to win. If anything we create terrorist. If we want to win we need to use intelligence, (CIA, NSA and other organizations) and humantarian aid(non-military actions specifically). The major reason people resort to terrorism is because of situations of desperation. For instance a bomb being dropped on their home and family, .The reason we are a major target is because they see us as the source of their problems, and of their muslim comrades. By changing America's foreign policy and becoming a country who lends a helping hand we can change people's views of America.

I do believe weapons is the way, however better tactics are needed in the war on terror, such as watching sewer hatches, destroying abandoned buildings, and watching places suspected to be hide-outs rather than raiding them and maybe killing innocent people.

I absolutely agree with you. Terrorists need to be hit hard at every opportunity. Liberals think playing warm and fuzzy with them will show them the error of their ways, how insane is that?

weapons will solve nothing. We need God to eliminate the terrorist. when people start accepting Jesus as savior. then all the terror will fade away.
