A doctor is not allowed to tell your parents anything you don't want them to or you get to sue them. Depending on the doctor you may be able to bring a friend but if your going for the type of check up that I think you are talking about then don't worry, it isn't that bad and they will usually have a nurse there as well to assist. I was so scared the first time I went but then the doctor was so nice and was making jokes so I barely even thought about it.

No, they're not allowed to tell anybody. Including your parents. Don't worry too much about it anyway. You should be able to take a friend if you feel that will make you more comfortable.
It partly depends how old you are, I guess, but I doubt the world is going to collapse because you lost your cherry. I was really depressed at the time because I didn't think I was ready, but I got over it and it hasn't affected my life like I thought it would.

they can tell whether your hymen is broken, but they can't know for sure whether that means you've had sex or not. they will not tell your parents unless you have some kind of health problem related to sex and you are still a minor. you can go with a friend if you want to. they're not really looking to find out if you're a virgin or not. i wouldn't even think the doctor would examine you that closely unless you're going to a gynocologist. relax. nobody's gonna know anything or tell your parents anything.

The doctor is covered by doctor patient confidentiality and not supposed to reveal anything he finds or is told by a patient without the patients OK. This doesn't cover patients with highly contagious deseases of interest to the CDC. They also have to report evidence of criminal activity, like gun shot and knife wounds or physical abuse. Today with the shrubs weird idea of security I don't know what the else they have to report but I don't think loseing your cherry is covered.

You could go to planned parenthood. Everything is completely confidential. You can be checked out by a doctor for free or maybe a small fee if you don't work.

Are you engaged to Prince William? Lady Diana was supposedly "certified" to be intact before marrying that no good cheating Charlie. NO, what you tell your Dr. is absolutely confidential, believe me. Good luck and don't worry. Your Dr. will not faint from the shock of you not being a virgin;he/she won't narc to your parents about the fact that you are human.

You can go with a friend and yes your doctor can tell if you had sex or not. You are the patient he/she shouldn't tell. Be honest with the doctor, your health is more important than a lecture and grounding from your parents.

no, they won't tell... it's called patient/doctor confidentiality. you need to be honest w/ him though if he asks u if ur ually active but from a parents' point of view, you should tell at least ur mom, there's a reason why some1 so young shouldn't have ... actually there's lots of them not to mention pregnancy, std's, aids... etc. and even though u may have had already, it doesn't mean u have to keep on doing it, u can still decide to wait till ur married.

They can't perform "virgin tests" because it's illegal as it's impossible to tell if someone is a virgin or not just by looking around inside.
Yes, it's all kept confidential because of that confidentiality clause. But, people of the government will know all of your dirty laundry thanks to the Patriot Act!

It depends on how old you are. I would not go to a private doctor. I would go to one of those family planning clinics, health departments something like that. If you go to your family doctor, he might feel obligated to inform your parents. But usually they cannot and should not divulge anything to your parents. In the future, please practice birth control and safe s*x precautions.
