I like the tomb raider games myself but also enjoy Vice City and San Andreas,Harry Potter,Spiderman is good,and also Cat in the hat.

go to gamespot.com and go to the ps2 section. they have the good games and suck ones too.
i'm not sure which game is the best right now cuz i haven't played in a while.

depends what genre youre into...
Action: devil may cry 3 special edition is pretty good.
RPG: kingdom hearts 2
Racing: just about any need for speed game
it all depends on what you look for too. if you demand an incredible storyline any final fantasy game is awesome. if you demand graphics i dunno what games to recommend. other things have other games.
