Thunderbirds was the biggest hit, but my memory goes back through Stingray, Fireball XL5, Supercar and even Four Feather Falls (I wonder how many remember that one). However my favourite of them all has to be Space 1999, of the two shows with real actors (UFO being the other). There are many reasons why I like it not least because it was real British Sci-fi and I liked the design of the Eagle transporters. My other main reason for watching it was Xenia Merton who played Sandra.

Captain Scarlet - it was more true-to-life in that things didn't always work out best for the good guys, quite a decision to make for something touted as a kid's show - but then, I don't think it is for anyone under the age of 12 personally. Couldn't believe the mess they made of showing the new animated version in the middle of the Saturday ITV kid's show!

As A kid it was Stingray but i as it had the best theme tune. But watching them later in life i would say it's Captain Scarlet because of how evil Captain Black and the mestrons seem.

I love thunderbirds as it was good, action pack with some humour mix in and you can watch it as a child and when you grow up you can still watch it. I love Lady Penelope's car, Parker, Lady Penelope and Brains
