she doesn't want to have nothing to do with him beacuse he said on an interview that she had metal problems, so she doesn't talk to him any more or and even let him see his grand kids. But, maybe he ask for her forgive him and she said no for an answer, to the man who help bring into this world. I even read that she's also not talking to him beacuse in the past, when she was a child or a teen, she said her father cheated on her mom.

Some things take longer to "get over" than others. I might have a problem with a parent who decided to air our personal circumstances on television. Could he possibly have thought that a comment like that would bring them closer ? Sometimes, whether its a relative or not, people have to deal with the fact that they just don't get along, especially when one of them keeps using the media to discuss personal family matters. Maybe if he can keep his mouth shut long enough she will have time to let the old, and now new, wounds heal. He needs to learn that there is a lot more to parenting than procreation !

I too have a bad relationship with my parents and its a personal thing that only you can do and i hate it when ppl told me to try to talk to my parents becuz its good to have a good relationship with them and that they are my parents no matter what, cuz i wasnt trying to hear that. I had made my decision of cutting them out of my life and nobody was gonna change my mind. Its good to have a nice relationship w/ ur parents but if u dont thats ok too. In angie's case i think that she was over reacting by not talking to her father but im not gonna say she should talk to him because she already made her choice and im pretty sure she had her own personal emotional reasons. But from what i read and saw of why she isnt talking to him i think she slightly over reacted.

i think that's stupid of her 2 do that. that's her father. she has no right 2 hate and ignore him. he brought her in2 this world. He has every right 2 c his grandkids. So what he cheated on her mom! that was in the past. she should be glad he didn't physically or sexually abuse her. that is a stupid reason on y she ignores her father. i happen 2 like Jennifer Aniston better than her.

You bet I think it was a huge mistake.
She's making a lot of them too. She loves the spotlight and so allows things like this to become fodder for the tabloids.
Here's another -- her appeal is as a "sex symbol", yet she just had one of the most public pregnancies in history.
I think her career is over. I really do. We'll only see her in the tabloids from now on.

It's her business, no one except Angelina and her father should make any decisions about their relationship. She's a grown woman, not a puppet for the public to manipulate because we simply want her to do something.

Well I had a man abandon me at birth and she knows the feeling of being deserted. He had his chance. Not only that he is uncaring/selfish like my dad and he judges her like mine. She is the sanest person for ignoring his stupid self. He is a manipulator and only is interested in his obsession with her and not loving her.

Who really know why she doesn't want anything to do with her dad? If he is poison then she should cut him out of her life. He wasn't in the house when she was growing up, and now it seems like he wants to publicly reconcile with her to help his career.

Yep-parents aren't perfect and kids don't come with manuals.
I think she needs to grow up. She's only hurting herself. You only live once.
Unless her father is extremly "toxic" and destructive to her life, she needs to mend the rift.

I don't think she made a mistake. He has betrayed her many times publically so I'm sure he's done in privatly as well. When someone in your life is posion it's best to remove them.
