I had a dream last night that woke me up and had me in tears. I was in a car with my grandmother (she was driving) who passed away 4 years ago. She was speeding towards a metal barrior and right before we crashed into it, I woke up. It upset me. I felt like she was trying to hurt or kill us. Me and my grandmother were very close and i dont understand this dream.

This does not have anything to do with a lottery number. Unless you want to go play a pick 3 #040. Just wondering in the last two days have you watched anything on t.v. that had to do with any type of crash? Or has anyone been talking to you about one? Subjects on any thing with cars or having to do anything fast or quick in the last 2 days? Have you felt like someone has been trying to hurt you lately? And did you think about gramma in the last 2 days? If none of the above rings a bell it may be that gramma is just telling you to be careful about something. But it may not have to do with a driving. May be something else.

Being a passenger in a car represents an extension of you being
Has your Grandmother past over or still here ?
If she has past over, she has come back into your dreams to warn you
That your have handed over your responsibility to someone else.
The car crashing suggest fear of failure in life as you were not driving can show lack of responsibility.

I am not sure why you mentioned about lottery number?
Dreaming of dead person especially close to you could mean you are very insecure and you are seeking for protection. You want someone to care about you. You projected a passed away closed person to tell you that you are in the midst of needing someone who understands you and give you sense of security. Perhaps, lately you are encountering some sort of troubles especial feeling down. That is you why you go to the dream and search for someone who has that image which can care about you. Your grand mother may be the figure in your sub-conscience that you are looking for.
