Yes, of course.

But is there a question hidden in there somewhere?

1. The speed of sound:At sea level, at a temperature of 15 °C (59 °F) and under normal atmospheric conditions, the speed of sound is 340 m.s-1 (1225 km.h-1 or 761 mph).
The speed varies depending on atmospheric conditions; the most important factor is the temperature. Humidity has little effect on the speed of sound, nor does air pressure per se. (Pressure has no effect at all in an ideal gas approximation. This is because pressure and density both contribute to sound velocity equally, and in an ideal gas the two effects cancel out, leaving only the effect of temperature.) Sound usually travels more slowly with greater altitude, due to reduced temperature.

2. relating to faster than the speed at which sound travels througfh the air = supersonic.

As others wrote, the speed of sound is around 340 m/s at sea level. as you go higher and higher, the speed of sound is decreasing. That's why jet aircrafts are capable of reaching and exceeding multiples of speed of sound in the higher altitudes. The speed you are travelling divided by the local (altitude, atmospheric conditions) speed of sound is the Mach-number.
Below 1.0 Mach, you are subsonic, above you are supersonic.

I try to answer your question (if I got that right :D) : exceeding the spee of sound means travelling at a speed higher than the local speed of sound.

Mach 1, Mach 2, Mach 3 are all speeds faster than the speed of sound through air. They are made by jets. When the sound barrier has been broken, you will hear a sonic boom.

I can't see a question in there. I could guess, but I don't think I will.
