Aren't they supposed to be for kids?

Those "inappropriate things" are artistic winks that animation artists give to each other and to the public. It is a challenge to see if you can insert an inappropriate illustration into Disney products, that will go unnoticed by the editors and quality-control people - and yet be spotted by the consumer. (See, as an example, the original VHS cover for Aladin, The towers and minarets are all penis shaped) I doubt seriously that any of the "inappropriate" illustrations have actually hurt or damaged anyone. They only make Disney Corp. mad - and after-all, who cares about them as a corporation anyway?

According to the Da Vinci Code, by Dan Brown, Walt Disney was a member of the Secret Society. That's why.
I can never really see them though.

What I heard is that the main animator for Little Mermaid was gay and I guess he wasn't happy with his line of work so he wanted to leave a legacy on those movies. I heard he died of AIDS.
