Be yourself. Any friend worth having is one who likes you for yourself and not who they think you are.
Be yourself from the start.
Be confident no matter how you feel.
Just know that you are special and precious.
good luck!

Hi. The most important friend you will make is yourself. If you don't start out in the new school with a sense of inner peace, quiet confidence and a patience that comes from not being anxious to please: then you will begin to discover your new friends very easily. This whole process of change starts inside you. Begin there by calmly meditation on all that you have learned that has brought you to this point. Focus on how you have grown and matured over these years. Remember that you are a person deserving of respect and always willing to stretch out your spirit to be with others. Never jump for the first thing you see. Good friends take time, trust, and most of all, love.

Show that you're a cheerful person who is approachable. People are bound to say hi, but don't wait for them to make the first move; don't be afraid to ask for help from someone, or even pretending to ask for help... You never know where conversations might take you.

Start by using Yahoo and get another screen name. Girl, Stupidgirl is just wrong. I am sure you have good qualities that you can put out there.

After that, pass out Hersey's kisses. Talk toy your neighbor in class, after class, in between. Be accessable and open and people will come to you.

Be yourself and join interest groups, or express interest in another person by complimenting their clothing, hairstyle etc. it opens the door for exchange of conversation, or you can ask the geek in math class for help with your homework. Good luck.

Be nice and don't seem snobby, believe me I have moved to three different states. It's hard but you'll live and last but not least look your best.
