I would like to know what privleges you get when you turn 18 that you dont have when you're a minor...I know there are the obvious..but any others?

well there are the obvious things as you stated..
but i know when i turned 18 they jacked the drinking age to 21....(that sukked i tell ya)
but as mentioned before, there are clubs that you can now enter. and if by chance you are military, you can now drink! (in some states..like mine!)
you no longer have to have parents permission to do the stuff you want to do..unless, of course, you live with them...
you can now go have any part of your body tattooed or pierced... as long as you don't live with the parents....

Yes, register to vote and express your opinions! So many people, young and older alike, are unregistered: it's unreal to think that they are not taking advantage of that wonderful chance to make one's voice heard!! Nobody who complains about the way things are or are not has the right to gripe if he/she hasn't voted...one little vote added to millions of others does make a difference!!! When I was younger, the legal voting age was 21.
This, to me, is the greatest privilege once a person turns 18!!

you can get in a lot more trouble
but you can also buy cigarettes and go to some 18 & over clubs. and you can buy lottery tickets. 18 isn't that great, 21 is the good one.

it depends where your from, and the legal age there,, where I'm from the legal age is 18,,, and basically you are free to do what ever you couldn't do when you were a minor,,,

well the man made law thinks that your an adult then wheras in islam when u hit puberty you are considered an adult.
