putting a carpet type door strip will work, but between two tiled areas will it be robust enough long term? they have to screw fixed and sit slightly proud of the tiles.
Would not a better option be to buy narrow tile strips that complement the colours either side, this would be easier to fix and far more robust.

id have done the whole lot the same, ive done the different tiles bit and it looks odd.
anyway tile strips from 'floor to go' or the one of the the tiles only shops, focus, wickes.

Look in yellow Pages. You will find a number of tile specialist all will have this in stock.

Focus DIY or Wickes do them, they used to be the same company and still share some similar stock.

They're called threshold strips, any diy or flooring shop should have them in wood or metal.
