I heard that it was awful... but I feel like watching it... i fount out that it's still on a movie theater near my home, so i wanted to go watch it today... is it good??

You should listen to your intuition.
I just saw the movie today. Since you don't want any spoilers, I say "Go". I was told the movie was lousy, so I wasn't expecting anything.
However, deep inside, I was wondering, "How could it NOT be good?" The problem with M. Night is his 1st film was such a memorable film that everyone wants all his movies to be like it.
What they're missing is that his films are NOT supposed to be about scaring people.

my mother went and saw it. shes the queen of thrillers. she said it was awful and almost pointless. that you can guess what will happen next so easily.
