I'm looking for an oddish at the moment. I'm on route 110, and a guide says I can find it there. My issue is I've been looking for about 20 minutes to no avial... Are some pokemon only avaible at night, or is there something else I need to be considering?

if my memory serves me correctly, route 110 is the one under the biking bridge south of mauville, and north of slateport?
in the grass in this area, there is like a 15-20% chance of fighting an oddish. also, in the same screen as the breeders, rt 117, it's like 15-20% there too.
unfortunately, night time doesn't mean anything, as it did in 2nd gen games, but time WILL matter in gen 4

Oddish can be found in Routes 110, 117, 119, 120, 121, 123 and in the Safari Zone

I have ruby .
but it is the same just different pokemon
only some pokemon you have to catch at night but not oddish
you catch oddish in lillycove safai zone, routes around fortee
