can any one tell me the name of the equipment used to make Ghost Sound effects amongst other in old 1920's and 30's sci-fi films. I know i had 2 electrodes on it 1 strait and 1 round. moving your hands near the electrodes will manipulate the sound

Very funny answers, but if you have a piano keyboard with diff. voices you should find `Ghost` on there.
My keyboard has alternative voices that achieve the same effect.
eg, `Night`, `Creeper`, `Goblins`.

Try downloading SFX or Sound Effects from www.limewire.com,
You'll get some weird and wonderful effects from it
