And all of them really suck. I'd hate to give any of them 10 points so I just delete the question. Is that wrong of me? I mean the answers were all absolutely horrible! I guess I didn't make it very clear what the question was. Is it horrible of me to just delete the question? Even if one of the answerers is my friend? (Thats why this Q fits under the friends category)

they do it for points, to get off hateful one-liners, and sometimes maybe your question is so personal that only u have the answer and they feel u should think it thru .
nothing wrong with deleting if there are no thoughtful answers.

Nah, I wouldn't give 10 points and a best answer to someone who didn't even answer what I asked (if no good answer was there). I thought we had an option to choose "no best answer" or is that just in voting? I'm not quite all the way awake yet, so my head isn't clear.
I see no point answering a question when I don't have anything to say related to what was asked... and I dont like it when people do it on my questions either.

don't give the 10 points girl! delete the question, or sometimes you don't even have to give 10 points. if they don't deserve them then don't give it. . i know, that does suck and i've seen a lot of answers like that , it gets on my nerves.

It may be the way you phrase the question.Also alot of people on answers just want points or really don't give a hoot how they answer the question.
