I have a spare computer, but it has a CRT monitor I want to replace it with some type of flat screen. Can anyone tell me what is the best type to get ( pro con's ) . I only want to use it as a monitor for basic computer stuff ( not video games).
Also anyone know what is a cheap price or where to shop?
Thanks

well if your in america i would check out http://www.tigerdirect.com and http://www.newegg.com since these have sales on atm, or u could also try http://www.compusa.com http://www.bestbuy.com or even ebay
well tft monitors are cheaper than LCD's
but best idea to go into a computer shop and just have a chat with a salesman, then shop around for one that he/she suggests.

Go to www.tigerdirect.com and check out any of the LCD's that they have. They are all good for basic applications.
