how old r both of u ? his mother must be having a solid reason for asking u to wait ? she must be having some problem? have u asked her ? is it possible for u to solve her problem ? how long she wants u to wait ? sit with her & talk it out. if u feel that u should get married right away make her understand yourpoint of view, she will definitely understand & agree to whatever u say. after all she also wants her son to be happy. but have patience.give her little time . she will allow u to marry.

The time to get married is in your guys' hearts. Don't let anyone pressure you. Not even your partner. You'll know when you're ready. Until then, ignore the others!

Do YOU want to get married? And if you're under 25, don't do it. Statistically, you have almost an eighty percent chance of being divorced in less than ten years.

do it only when YOU feel it is right please. I would wait as you'll get a more clearer idea about what you are going to do. I wouldn't listen to anyone just follow your heart.
