Wow, excellent question! That's got me thinking.... okay.... here goes:

I would paint myself very femininely; in a white 19th century day-dress with my long hair in a braid, sitting down with a soft and kindly expression, to show my fragile, innocent and feminine self... I'd be sitting near a river, holding a deep primrose-colored flower in both hands (the hands would be in my lap), with trees surrounding me to show my strong love for nature. Also, my family would be near me, each being shown their different characters in actions (laughter if they are a generally happy person, pensive if they are a generally serious person, etc) . As for the sky, it would partly cloudy to show there have been some downs in my life so far, and a passionately bright sun with radiant sun beams shooting down just until the top of the trees to show the goodness of my life. To continue with the ups and downs, my use of colors would be highly contrasted between dark and soft... oh and maybe there would be some objects scattered near me on the grass; sketchbooks to show my love of art, ballet shoes for my love of (classical) dancing and a/an (older-than-now) camera to show I wanted to capture the moment. Finally, I'll end by saying the time would be morning, my favorite, and the weather slightly breezy and comfortably warm...

Thank you for reading, I know I was long, and again for asking this interestingly great question! : )

In the forground, there'd be a table with lots of books on it. I'd probably make the covers the same colors as some of the ones that are on my shelf right now, to show which books are my favorites. The table would also have a few small natural objects, like a piece of granite from northern Maine or pieces of driftwood from near where I lived as a child. There would definitely be a few pieces of paper with writing on them peeking out from under the stacks of books. Behind the table would be a window; beyond the window, there would be a tall tree against a nearly-night sky with stars.

Since I am much older than you, I would put an image of myself as a toddler, a teenager, a young adult and me in the present. I would also have images of my family, my friends, my favorite activites, and my home which is near the Atlantic Ocean. I would also put in something that would remind the viewer of the times that I have lived through. But most of all, a good composition is needed. If it isn't interwoven well, then the most elloquent ideas are like throwing cards up in the air and expecting them to come down looking pretty.
