I don't know about covering them without applying too much makeup, but I can help with ideas of reducing the swelling.
Use cold water on your eyes when you first wake up. Cucumbers really do the trick as well. I remember reading about an actress who used a bowel of ice on her face every morning to reduce bags. For makeup, suggest a white color and just put it around the area and then use a flesh colored foundation. I love Bare Escentuals makeup. You can go on line and get an idea of what will work for you. It is also called Bare Minerals. I hope this helps you.

Arbonne has a good eye cream or you could use hemorrhoidal cream to take the swelling out. Then an eye conceal always helps.

u sould get atleast eight hours sleep to prevent them, but somtimes u r just born with them and using a yellow based liquid concealer (maibeline ever fresh if the best ) will effectivley hide them.

Also no salty snacks, canned soups or pickles. Salt makes it worse.
