and every time i type in the address for my old home page it goes straight back to netopia. what can i do

go to tool....click internet option....in the general tap....type in ur homepage that u want...then click use current...then at the right bottom click apply ...ok..

Doesn't sound like an issue with your new wireless router, but more so spyware. Check out Lavasofts Adaware, it's free, and a great tool to have.

There's other great one's out there too... but not all are free.

Oh, and if you haven't yet, try restarting after you make changes to your system. Tends to put things back where they need to be.

If those ideas do not work, contact the router manufacturer. I have a friend who bought a Gateway laptop, and they are not allowed to change the homepage. It was set with IEAK. Might be a similar thing with the router.

Tools, Internet Options and put in the page you want there.
