Did you leave the car becose you were to drunk to drive? If so you commited no crime. Is the car parked in a spot were it's not supposed to be? there are many questions you leave un answerd grass hopper only time and the police will tell!

Probably concerned that your car may have been stolen--or--they ran your plates and you have a warrant out for your arrest!! Why didn't you just answer the door?

Maybe it was the body under the car. j/k
They might be wondering if it was stolen and advising you of it's location. Or they may want to cite you if it was parked illegally.
