This is probably a startup program, so go to START and RUN, type MSCONFIG and uncheck programs that you do not need in the STARTUP section.

You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

This double whammy will help keep you safe and running faster

Bit hard if you don't tell us what you are using, Mac of PC.

I don't know what your message means but if it is a PC right click on the C drive and go to tools and scan the disk. More than likely it will tell you it will need to run next time you turn on the computer. Log off, turn it back on and let it run its course. It make take a long time depending on the size of your disk. This might fix your problem.

Click Start, then All Programs and check the Startup folder for anything that has Microsoft Works in the name. Move those shortcuts to your desktop, then add them back one at a time until you find the one that causes the error.

wkcalrem.exe is a Microsoft Works process. Something may be corrupted in your MS Works. So, I would suggest you uninstall it, using Add/Remove programs, restart your computer and reinstall. It will probably solve your problem.

Whatever internet you are contracted with, give them a call to help you alleviate this problem. Otherwise you may make things worse trying to do it yourself and cause worser problems. It should be free. The word wlcalrem sounds like an internet issue.
