g pigs are prone to getting respitory infections, symptoms would be lethargy, sneezing, runny nose/eyes, labored breathing that sounds asmatic. This would be my first choice, but their are other possiblitys such as wetail (diahrea) you would notice their wet bottom this would also make them lethargic and not drink water ... this is not common for g pigs but is possible for them to get. The first mentioned respt. would be reccomended that the g pig recieves .01 cc's baytril twice a day until condition improves. Baytril can only be purchased through a vet. the second mentioned wetail, adminster orally and in water a medication called "dri-tail" this can be purchased at most chain petstores. both of the mentioned illnesses should be tended to immediatly, it does not take very long for a respitory to kill a g pig, if it happens to be wetail the g pig will dehydrate quickly as they are very small. take to vet as soon as you can for proper diagnosis.

Guinea pigs get colds very easily and they can be deadly if not treated. Take him to the vet asap. In the meantime give him some cut up oranges, the vit. C will help if it is a cold. This is good to do on a reg. basis to prevent colds. Make sure you keep him in a non-drafty area.

is it to hot and does she have diarehha or stange colored urine. it is not good when they do not eat for even a day as it takes a lot to keep those little energetic bodies going. if she is just laying around and her behaviors have changed a lot she may have something brewing-an illness. if she doesn't start eating she needs to see a vet.

is he pooping?? he could be constipated. Or does he have a cold, check his nose for discharge. Go to the pet store and buy some vitamins, they come in liquid form to put in the water. If you notice him not pooping, take him to the vet right away.

I'm so sorry, that does not sound good at all. I think he is dying. It tends to happen very quickly in small animals like that.
