Learning to research on the internet is your best bet. Most people only use google as a search engine, while many others are far more user friendly, such as www.ask.com.

Don't forget to include information on the change in brain wave states while people watch TV. This has a powerful effect which solidifies the concept and effectiveness of TV advertising.

Please be sure to research the effects of subliminal advertising. This was "outlawed" in the 1970's but many advertisers still do it. It would be nice to see someone do an expose. You might have to dig deep...like befriending someone in the creative department of an advertising agency to do it. But go do it!

Negative:
1. They influence people to buy things they don't need.
2. They can influence the way people perceive something without it being true. EX. After you've seen 5 different commercials saying that such and such product is the best you start to believe it.
3. They can induce cravings that could lead you to eat when you're not hungry.

Positive:
1. Efficient way to communicate a message or attempt to change behavior of the masses.
2. Can sometimes be more entertaining than the show you are watching.

The reason so little ... other than simple statistically generated data exists on this subject is that those doing the studies fail to take into consideration the MIND sets of those being subjected to advertising... principally because of ignorance. That is, those doing the research, if associated with psychology at all, are not trained in the Esoteric MIND realm, because their instructors do not know anything about the Esoteric MIND realm.

They study only behavioral phenomenon which actually tells us nothing about the impact of advertising on either reinforcing the negative misperceptions young children hold within their MINDs regarding themselves, or... which is most unlikely, reinforcing the positive views held of themselves.

What advertising does is demonstrate ways of venting the negative energy being generated within children which must be vented in some way. Aggressive games and play are the most normal way of venting. Stealing cars and crashing them are being taught as alternatives to children via movies and advertising. Hitting, hurting, and killing are also being "taught" unintentionally to children who are allowed to watch TV.

Visual teaching prior to intellectual readiness to discount what is seen is the reason children mimic what they see. As for adults, those who are weak in decision making skills are very vulnerable to suggestion.. and make up the bulk of impulse purchasers. Business of course does not care who buys, only that buying takes place. Hope this helps a bit.

positive;
-Numbers ; Billions of people watch tv..it's far better than any other way of advertising.
-Unlike radio,newspaper or magazine ads you have the chance to stimulate more sense (Hearing,seeing)
-You don't have to tell all your message in a picture.(like printed ads)
-Different Ways; You can just use plain advertisements or you can put them in a show , you can make your favouritte tv star to drink coke in his latest episode for example.Or you can use advertorials.

Negatives;
-You don't know how many people exactly watched it.
-You don't know who watched. (These two can be found out in internet....like who clicked it , when , which state ,which country etc.)
-You may get lost in an ocean of tv commercials.
-It's expensive (biggest problem) it might turn out to be a dead investment
-You may make life a misery for poor people.I know some ads here have been suspended for manipulating children.
-You create an artificial life which is different than our world.This brings up a problem in some people's minds. They may want to live like that but they can't afford.So they steal or do other bad things.

best way i see to do it is sit around watching tv all day! write about cigarette, liqour, and cars(speeding). its the easiest. u can write stuff like pros- it helps sell the product and give more money to the companies or government to use on w/e and cons- its advertising a negative action......cigarettes liquor and speeding cars all have these same pros and cons...just write it differently ... super easy!

Do your own homework. You won't benefit by others doing it for you.
