If he has cold sores, there is a risk of him transmitting herpes to you... but he's more at risk of being infected with anything that you may have... and I do so wish some of you people would take more care in your word choices in asking these types of questions... It's a good question you asked, but I just think the term you used to ask about oral sex was a bit to make people judge you. Be careful and practice safe sex please!!! Good luck!

A std can be transmitted by oral sex but I don't think it happens too often. Even worst is the fact that AIDS can be transmitted by the same way.
But usually in this case it's the woman who is the carrier and the man the receiver.
In this world of ours today, it's dangerous for any kind of unprotected sex. A man or woman who engage in oral sex should use condoms, dental dams ( a condom torn open and placed over the vagina to prevent mouth to vagina contact) don't play with your life, it's too precious!

It does carry some risk, especially if he has oral herpes or something.... But the risk is fairly low, so I would not stress out about it unless you are showing symptoms or have reason to beleive the guy had an STD.

I don't believe so, because eating out isn't really the same as actually having sex. Plus, unless you already had an STD, I don't think you'd get one from this guy. STD's aren't orally transmitted, I think.

If he had a cold sore (herpes) on his lip when he did the deed. Yes you could get herpes of the genitals. Just know who you are messing around with and make sure you have them go and get tested before any action between the both of you. Be safe, not sorry.

I have never heard of anyone passing syph or gonorrhea with male to female oral sex, but, herpes is a virus and though rare, I guess oral herpes could be transfered to a female.
Chlamydia is one an am not sure of but believe it would be difficult to do since it is a female disease (virus)
