We're told a $20 million P.R. Campaigne is necessary to tell America of all the "Good Things" being done in Iraq, paid for by our tax dollars ... when media spots arleady exist that tell us the media doesn't say enough. (Who pays for those spots and why don't they take THAT time to TELL US SOMETHING GOOD?)

I would think that if time is already given to address the issue, they would use that time effectively to mention something "good" they wanted to say ... if there was any good news to mention, instead if whinning they "don't have time."

I think this proposed $20 million P.R. Campaigne is going to be more of a propaganda blitz for the Bush Administration, at our expense ... again!

My point: Take the time to tell us something good, when (or instead of when) you say, we say nothing good about Iraq. - Use that time effectively ... not charge tax payers to MAKE MORE TIME!

The mainstream media does not want you to know the good things going on, it doesn't fit with their agenda. I had a nephew over there who was disgusted with the spin put on the war by the so called media here. The majority of them are Libs/Dems who want no good news to make it this far. I have a feeling you lean toward that party by your comments.

Oil, trouble-free and easy. They KNEW Iraq had no longer something to do with 9/11 and that they wouild by no ability be able to convince the american human beings as such. So with some 'intel' of WMD's they used that because of the fact the explanation to invade Iraq. yet lo and behold none have been discovered however the U. S. stayed there for an exceedingly, very long term, with over one hundred,000 civilian deaths because of the fact the U. S. invasion. additionally i think Sudam Hussain wasn't enjoying ball with the western worldwide, specially the U. S., so as that they desperate to take him out in simple terms like they did Gudaffi.

Unfortunately, bad news sells. Good news does not. They are giving us what most people want to hear. If we want to hear more good news, more about the good that people do in Iraq and elsewhere, we have to speak up where it counts. Let the networks know you want to hear more good news. The more of us they hear from, the more good news we'll see. As the saying goes ... the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The liberal news media (New York Times, CNN) spend a lot of time on bad things because they are democrats and want power.
