Don't be immature and not answer the phone. If you went to court, court would make you give the kids the stuff. Be happy with what they leave behind as your remembrance. Be true to your word and let them come get their parent's belongings. Trust me. They'll respect you for it. My dad died and his own brother took EVERYTHING and then he died and we have NOTHING left of our father and I think about it constantly, and with hatred and distaste for that uncle. Don't let that happen to you, ok? Not nice. Be mature.

i do not imagine 1 should be above the different notwithstanding that is definitely significant to locate time for both. maximum mom and dad have a tendency to forget their better 0.5 after their youthful little ones are born and it has continuously been their toddler's desires above their better 0.5. as a effect, they do no longer spend high quality time with their spouses and finally end up with a marriag that lacks communique and love. attempt to strike a stability and organize for a weekly date nighttime with your better 0.5 to ascertain that spark is saved alive!

you already told them it would be fine so let them get their stuff. If you ignore calls and pretend you arent there.... will you regret it later? You have to answer that one for yourself and then decide if you will let them get their stuff or not

Of course. I'd think about how I would feel if it was my dad and how it would be if I wasn't allowed stuff. Also how they would resent me if I didn't let them.
